Nothing ever goes as planned, and since I had a terrible night, I’m just going to hang out with the gang today because I don’t have the headspace for anything else. I’m also not sure if I’ll work on the side today or just let myself be entertained, as I have to go back to the office tomorrow.

Anyway, we’re in the middle of the sixth season, and the fun with flags has already begun. Shamy has signed their contract and is fully embracing it. In terms of relationships, we’re entering the phase where the gang is drastically cut down to fit into their partners’ relationship models. They have to give up most of their nerd stuff because otherwise, they wouldn’t be “normal” partners. Personally, I find this one of the most disgusting developments in the show. Because the girls already knew the gang long enough before and knew what they were getting into.

This quickly spreads the message that you can only find a partner if you give up what you love and yourself to find one. Changes and compromises are necessary, no question, but if you look closely, you’ll notice that in the series, it goes far beyond that. Well, let’s see how it goes. The really “bad” stuff is yet to come.
